How to setup & use your letterhead with bing

Using your letterhead with bing couldn't be easier.  All you need is a soft copy (eg. PDF or Word Doc) and you can send mail on your letterhead within seconds.  Here's how it works...

Simply open your letterhead document in it's native application (eg. MS Word, Publisher, PDF etc.).  Then follow these steps to setup your letterhead ready for use:

  1. print the letterhead to the EasyPost Mailroom - "File" > "Print" and select "Mailroom" as your printer;
  2. in the EasyPost Mailroom Wizard, select "Save as Letterhead" (not add letterhead) and click "Next"
  3. you will now be shown a preview window where you can check your letterhead as well as it's formatting options including colour and duplex settings;
  4. when you have reviewed your letterhead and selected the options you desire, save it by selecting "Mailing" > "Save" from the main menu and then close the EasyPost Mailroom preview;
  5. your letterhead is now ready in the EasyPost Mailroom to be used with any letter or document!

When you next send a letter and want to use this letterhead, simply select the "Add Letterhead" tick box when previewing your letter!

Want A Two Page Letterhead?

Some companies have a simplified version of their letterhead which appears from page two (2) onwards.  That means that their full letterhead is on the first page of any mailing, but a lighter or simplified version appears on all subsequent pages.

Doing this with bing is easy!  All you need to do is create a two page soft copy of your letterhead.  So, if you use MS Word for example, page one of your document would have the full letterhead, and page two would have the simplified version.  Then you simply follow the steps above to make it available for use in the EasyPost Mailroom.

When you select this letterhead for use, bing will automatically apply the first page of the letterhead to the first page of your letter, and will apply the second page of the letterhead to all additional pages in your document!

Tip: It is recommended that you call the two page letterhead something that is easily identifiable so that when you select the letterhead you'd like to use, you know if you're selecting the single page version, or the multiple page version.

Client Testimonial

"I decided to try fax marketing for the first time and have been extremely impressed.  I sent out approximately 2000 faxes to my target market, and have secured $14,000 worth of contracts as a result - we are now sending regular faxes to market our services as the results have been the best when compared with mailing and advertising - not to mention the cost effectiveness of faxing and the reporting"

Newsflash

Australia Post recently applied to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission to increase the cost of standard stamps to 55c from 50c. The ACCC approved this request, and as of September 15th 2008, we're all going to be paying more for standard postage.

If this comes as bad news to your company, then I highly recommend that you talk to us about using bing!  On average, our customers save a massive 42% on their mailing costs through the use of our on-demand mailing service.

With no lock-in contracts, no minmum volume requirements, no monthly/yearly fees, you've really got nothing to lose.
