Ryland Blakeney is one of the world’s best kitesurfers. As a professional athlete on the move, Ryland is constantly travelling the world in search of great waves and wind, making him very time poor. Ryland was looking for a website that makes it very easy for him to update his followers quickly and easily, with stories, images and video footage.

The website is built in the WordPress CMS, making it quick and easy for Ryland to update his own site on a regular basis.

Ryland wanted the ability for people to subscribe to receive his blog updates, but without actually having to manually send the email updates himself. To achieve this, we implemented the Google Feedburner service which checks the RSS feed on Ryland’s website daily and then automatically sends email updates to subscribers. This means all Ryland needs to do is update his blog, the rest is automated!
