The campaign was based around a competition microsite we built which you can view here. The competition showed short introduction movie in flash and then transitioned into the Business Class cabin. Each entrant was required to fill all 21 seats in the Business Class cabin to gain a valid entry in the competition. The microsite enabled each entrant to make seating arrangements and add/edit/delete friends from the plane. Once friends were selected for seats, they were required to confirm their seats via the microsite also. The campaign was supported via online banner advertising, press releases and a direct mail campaign. Starting with no database at all, Vietnam Airlines was able to generate over 100,000 opt-in subscribers in four weeks. Click here to see how we did it. |
