We require the skills of an experienced digital account director, who is also passionate about the opportunity to further grow their business portfolio. Our client is a large automotive with exciting plans for 2011 including growth across a range of new products.

This is a very exciting opportunity to work with a client that not only understands digital, but encourages highly creative thinking, use of emerging technologies and new platforms such as social media and video.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the automotive industry and feel comfortable dealing with senior level stakeholders and decision makers. You will be energetic, positive, with a can-do attitude and the ability to work across both a strategy and marketing platform. Additionally, you'll be able to prioritise, generate and create new business opportunities through your excellent networking, prospecting and relationship building skills.

This role suits an individual who likes to work autonomously and is a motivated self-starter. This role offers you the ability to develop and shape the sales culture and sales business plan, building short, medium and long-term sales objectives for the business moving forward.

The Digital Account Director is tasked with ensuring the agency is delivering high quality work that both meets and exceeds the expectations of the client, and flagging any potential issues that may arise along the way at both ends, as well financial reporting and budget management.

The Digital Account Director will work both as a part of an integrated client service team, but also as part of a small digital team of three in our Melbourne office, supported by a larger production team in our Perth office.

This role would suit an agency Account Director who thrives in an innovative, progressive agency environment. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting and innovative projects, and to flex the left side of your brain and think creatively about how to best leverage digital to meet the needs of your client.

The ideal candidate is a highly organised individual with strong oral and written communication skills, with prior agency experience. You may currently be a SAM or Digital Account Director in an agency, with a good understanding of digital marketing (integrated marketing experience ideal) and genuine interest in working on progressive campaigns at the forefront of the industry.
