System Features
Voice broadcasting has a very wide range of applications, all of which require slightly different features. Here is a list of the system capabilities (this list is constantly being developed!).
Text To Speech
voiceREACH enables you to personalise your messages! For example, you can deliver a voice message which plays like this: "hello <Tony>, this is an important reminder that your membership fees are due by close of business on Friday, please visit our website to pay before then to ensure you don't lose your regular seat".
The system will automatically insert each person's name from the data file, personalising the messages to every recipient! Of course you can do much more than just add someone's name - you can add account details, date of birth, membership numbers, fees due etc.
voiceREACH utilises leading text-to-speech technology to convert text from your data file into speech and you'd be surprised at how good it sounds! Contact us for a sample message to hear for yourself.
Answering Machine Detection
voiceREACH has an industry leading rate of positive answering machine detection (PAMD), at around 90%. This means that voiceREACH can determine if the recipient answering the phone is a live person or an answering machine, and deliver the message accordingly.
Therefore, you can record two messages, one for a live person, and another for an answering machine. This makes your message much more effective and means you don't try to ask answering machines to "press 0 now"!
Hot Key Transfer
This is a fancy name for a very useful feature of our voice broadcasting system. If you are trying to establish contact with your recipients, then the hot key transfer is ideal. Hot key transfer enables you to transfer a recipients call through to a number you select. For example, if you are calling people to remind them of membership fees, you can ask them to "press 0 now to pay your fees" - once they press 0, they can be transferred through to your call centre or automated IVR for payment.
The hot key transfer turns an outbound voice broadcasting service into an inbound calling service - that's right, you can send calls out to your customers, and then have them transfer into your call centre to talk to your agents. This makes voiceREACH an ideal solution for making contact with large numbers of customers.
Data Collection
voiceREACH can record any and all actions (or non-actions for that matter) by your recipients. The detailed reporting will provide you with information on exactly what your recipients did on every call. This means you can use voice broadcasting for doing surveys or capturing information.
For example, you can deliver a message which says "If you plan to vote for the XXX Party in the upcoming election, please press 1, however if you plan to vote for YYY Party in the election, please press 2".
This information is then detailed on the automated reports generated by voiceREACH so you can easily tabulate the results of every call.
Retry Algorithms
voiceREACH has a range of sophisticated retry algorithms. This means we can configure voiceREACH to suit your requirements, whatever they may be. For example, voiceREACh can retry busy numbers every 5 minutes until the call is answered, or it can only try once.
Blackout Period
voiceREACH has automatic blackout period compliance to save embarrassing mistakes! In accordance with Australian Telemarketing laws, voiceREACH has a setting to prevent calls from being delivered outside the accepted call times. This setting can of course be removed for emergency services, but is usually kept in place to ensure that your calls aren't considered to be breaching privacy or annoying your customers.
Delivery Methods
voiceREACH can deliver your message in a number of ways. We've already touched on answering machine detection, however the system also has the ability to deliver a messages as follows:
- Silence - this will force delivery of your message after a set number of seconds from receiving an "off-hook";
- Live Answer Only - this will only deliver messages to live recipients; and
- Answering Machine Only - this will only deliver messages to answering machines.
Reporting
Voice broadcasting is only as effective as the reporting information it produces. voiceREACH can provide you with very detailed reporting information on every single call. The reports actually provide the "telco gamma codes" for every call, meaning that you can tell exactly what the result of each call was and therefore confidently update your database of phone numbers accordingly. Further, voiceREACh will provide you with details of all customer actions in the calls, and the number of transfers etc.
